I strongly advise that you book your new born photoshoot in with me as soon as possible. I only take on a limited amount of shoots each month.
If you have already delivered your baby please do still get in touch as I always aim to fit late bookings in. I understand and appreciate reasons why you wait until your baby has arrived.Â
If you have had a pregnancy scan with any Baby Bond Ultrasound Direct, you will receive 50% off of a full new born shoot fee. To use this offer be sure to let me know upon your first contact with me when booking in.Â
If you work for the NHS or Armed forces a 5% discount can be applied to your image order on full sessions.

You can not schedule your new born shoot too early. We can book a tentative date in the diary and then work on the specifics after your baby has arrived. My new born shoots always start late morning and are unhurried, totally private and relaxed allowing time for you and your baby’s needs.

Julie did a newborn photoshoot for us, and she was simply fantastic.
She captured wonderful photos of our baby, as well as our 4 year old and us. Photos to treasure forever! Her studio set up is perfect too – super relaxing and kept our boy busy while his baby brother was having his newborn shots.
We signed up for future shoots too by joining her Baby Club!
We have now had two newborn shoots and a family forest photoshoot in the bluebells. We joined the Baby Club.
Julie always makes you feel relaxed and comfortable and it shows as the images are always so amazing. The children love it too and we are always so excited to see the results. Infact we have just booked another shoot.
The choices of images are fabulous with a great selection of frames and different modern options to have your pictures printed into wall products.

Julie did an absolutely fantastic job of our newborn photo shoot. I was really apprehensive about how we would get our toddler to comply for the shots but Julie was brilliant, so welcoming, that I felt at ease quickly.
Julie got some amazing shots of the 4 of us and ones of the 2 girls together as well as the little one on her own.
When we went to view the photos I found it very emotional as they were so beautifully captured. We joned her Baby Club too.Â
Such a wonderful set of memories for us to treasure.
How it works:
An initial WhatsApp video chat and online pre consultation will be conducted.
Your newborn shoot will be scheduled for mid morning.
Posed, natural sleepy and awake images will be taken (with or without/props).
You will return to the Southampton studio to a viewing of your gallery (excluding mini shoot). If you live a great distance away we can arrange a live Face Time appointment.
Payment will be due at this appointment so I can then process your order.

Parent, family and sibling shots included. (Dogs prior approval).

NEWBORN MINI
Mini shoot fee £49
  £49 Up to 1 hour shoot
Single baby only/no parent, sibling or family shots included.
Either awake or asleep shots (baby led).Â
Small digital file collection will be chosen by me and sent over to you within 24/48 hours.Â
Payment of the digital file collection and shooting fee is due at the time of booking.Â

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time to book a newborn shoot?
The perfect time to book in with me is when you are around 20 weeks pregnant.
The ideal time for a new born shoot is when baby is between 4 days old (if bottle fed) and around two weeks old .
Newborn photoshoots are classed up until baby is six weeks of age.
During these early days I am able to capture those really cute curled up sleepy poses. This is when your baby is very easy to manoeuvre as their ligaments are still soft and flexible. Awake shots can also be captured.
What if my baby is older than 6 weeks?
Do still contact me if your baby is already older than 6 weeks. As I also photograph older babies too. I have accomplished many of the same cute images of babies up to the age range 6 to 12 weeks old.
What if my baby is premature?
Premature multiple babies can be up to 12 weeks old if they have been in hospital care up until this point.
