I’m Julie A Davis, a specialised maternity and newborn photographer based in Hampshire, serving Winchester, Southampton, Salisbury and the surrounding areas. With 17 years of experience and a deep background in baby care and maternal support, I create calm, elegant, and meaningful maternity portraits that celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Whether you want natural, lifestyle images or something more artistic, my maternity sessions are designed for women who value baby safety, emotional reassurance, and timeless keepsakes.
Pregnancy photoshoots are recommended between 28–34 weeks for the best results, and many of my clients book their newborn and maternity sessions together.
I shall guide you on how to pose and prepare you for your pregnancy photoshoot. A pregnancy wardrobe is available for you to use. I can help you with clothing styling and colour coordinating, so you will look and feel your best in your photoshoot. Everything is pre-planned in advance.
Your partner and your dog can also be included in your pregnancy images.
Location photoshoots are available in Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury, the New Forest, Hampshire and Dorset.

All photo shoot preparation guides will be sent over.
Come to your photoshoot and have a wonderful experience. As I take care of everything.
Attend the studio to view your beautiful gallery, receive guidance and choose options. *Online viewing appointments are available, too, if you live a great distance away.

Please note Saturday morning shooting fees are double and are very limited and must be pre booked in advance.

When is the best time to book a maternity shoot?
The ideal time for a maternity photoshoot is when you are between 28 – 39 weeks of gestation.
Do you supply any photoshoot maternity clothing?
Yes, I do have some maternity dresses and things you can borrow if you wish. I will also pre-plan your whole maternity photoshoot with you, and we can discuss suitable clothing, etc. I am here to style your shoot if you so wish.
Can my other family members be included in my photoshoot?
Yes, you may include other family members in your maternity photoshoot. Having your maternity shoot outside at a beautful location would be perfect, as there will be lots of extra space. You can even bring your dog along if you wish.
